Plan a filming day / batch your takes. Line up your ideas, plan each one's script beats, then film them all in one go.
Before you start
- You need at least one saved idea in your Library.
- Planning works on desktop (web app).
- Recording works on mobile.
- Use both together for the best flow.
- Open the desktop web app and go to Library in the left nav.
- Look at the progress strip at the top. It shows how many ideas are Saved, Filmed, and Scheduled. This is your filming queue.
- Click the Saved tab. You see three sections: Hot takes, Slow burns, and Your ideas.
- Find an idea you want to film next. Each card shows small dots labelled H · V · A (Hook, Value, Action). Empty dots mean the idea has no plan yet.
- Click Plan on that card. A panel slides in from the right.
Work through three tabs: Hook, write or pick the one line that earns the first three seconds; Value, add one or two concrete things the viewer will leave with; Action, write the single next step you want them to take.
- The plan saves itself 1.5 seconds after you stop typing. You'll see "Plan saved" the first time.
- Close the panel. The card now shows filled H · V · A dots.
- Repeat steps 5-8 for every idea you plan to film that day.
- Pick up your phone and open the mobile app.
- Go to Library > Saved. Find one of your planned ideas and tap it.
- Tap Record to open the camera. Use your plan (hook, value, action) as your mental script.
- Film the take. After you stop, the app saves and processes your video. It moves to Filmed.
- Go back to your Saved shelf and pick the next idea. Repeat until you've filmed everything for the day.
- Return to the desktop to review your Filmed shelf, run a brand check, add captions, and schedule.
You'll know it worked when
Each idea you planned shows filled H · V · A dots on its card. After recording, those takes appear in the Filmed tab and the Filmed count in the progress strip goes up.
