Plan a filming day / batch your takes

Plan each take's hook, value, and action beats before filming, then use the library's Saved shelf and progress funnel to batch a full filming session in one go.

Plan a filming day / batch your takes. Line up your ideas, plan each one's script beats, then film them all in one go.

Before you start

  • You need at least one saved idea in your Library.
  • Planning works on desktop (web app).
  • Recording works on mobile.
  • Use both together for the best flow.
  1. Open the desktop web app and go to Library in the left nav.
  2. Look at the progress strip at the top. It shows how many ideas are Saved, Filmed, and Scheduled. This is your filming queue.
  3. Click the Saved tab. You see three sections: Hot takes, Slow burns, and Your ideas.
  4. Find an idea you want to film next. Each card shows small dots labelled H · V · A (Hook, Value, Action). Empty dots mean the idea has no plan yet.
  5. Click Plan on that card. A panel slides in from the right.
  6. Work through three tabs: Hook, write or pick the one line that earns the first three seconds; Value, add one or two concrete things the viewer will leave with; Action, write the single next step you want them to take.

  7. The plan saves itself 1.5 seconds after you stop typing. You'll see "Plan saved" the first time.
  8. Close the panel. The card now shows filled H · V · A dots.
  9. Repeat steps 5-8 for every idea you plan to film that day.
  10. Pick up your phone and open the mobile app.
  11. Go to Library > Saved. Find one of your planned ideas and tap it.
  12. Tap Record to open the camera. Use your plan (hook, value, action) as your mental script.
  13. Film the take. After you stop, the app saves and processes your video. It moves to Filmed.
  14. Go back to your Saved shelf and pick the next idea. Repeat until you've filmed everything for the day.
  15. Return to the desktop to review your Filmed shelf, run a brand check, add captions, and schedule.

You'll know it worked when

Each idea you planned shows filled H · V · A dots on its card. After recording, those takes appear in the Filmed tab and the Filmed count in the progress strip goes up.

The thinking's done. Your turn to talk.

One question a day. Filmed with you, checked against your guidelines, posted everywhere.
